Ihr entwickelt aktuell eine Projektidee und sucht einen Ort, der zu euch passt? Das Berliner Ringtheater freut sich auf eure Konzepte für Theaterproduktionen, Tanzstücke, Performances und eigene Theatertexte, die bei uns in 2023 realisiert werden können.
WER WIR SIND UND WAS WIR MACHEN:
Das Berliner Ringtheater ist ein 2017 gegründeter Produktionsort für gesellschaftskritisches Theater, der Gegenwartsgeschichten und neue Darstellungsformen zur Aufführung bringt. Theatermacher*innen, die am Anfang ihrer professionellen Laufbahn stehen oder sich ein neues künstlerisches Feld erschließen möchten, werden bei uns durch eine kollektive und machtkritische Produktionsstruktur unterstützt. Wir interessieren uns dabei insbesondere für intersektionale Perspektiven und Ansätze von BIPoC- oder FLINTA-Künstler*innen sowie Künstler*innen mit Behinderung, Flucht- oder Migrationsgeschichte. Seit drei Jahren wird unsere Arbeit von der Berliner Senatsverwaltung für Kultur und Europa unterstützt. Weitere Angaben zu unserem Profil findet ihr hier auf unserer Webseite.
WAS WIR VON EUCH BRAUCHEN:
• Projektbeschreibung (2 Seiten), die aus folgenden Teilen besteht: Thema des Projekts, Inszenierungskonzept, Umsetzungsideen, Darstellung der eigenen Arbeitsweise.
• Textauszüge (wenn vorhanden)
• Finanzierungsstrategie bzw. Finanzplan
• Lebenslauf der Projektverantwortlichen und Liste der Projektbeteiligten
• Dokumentation vergangener Arbeiten
• Ggf. Nachweis von Nutzungsrechten (z. B. im Falle einer Romanadaption)
WAS WIR EUCH BIETEN:
Ausgewählte Projekte unterstützen wir durch technische Betreuung, Presse und Öffentlichkeitsarbeit, Unterstützung beim Förderantrag und einen kleinen Koproduktionsbeitrag. Darüber hinaus betreuen unsere Hausdramaturg*innen sowohl die Konzeption als auch die Durchführung des Projekts und sorgen für einen künstlerischen Austausch zwischen den Projektbeteiligten und der kollektiven künstlerischen Leitung des Ringtheaters. Hinweis: Die Umsetzung des Programms im Jahr 2023 ist von unserer erfolgreichen Raumsuche abhängig. Zusagen für eine Produktion sind daher nur unter Vorbehalt möglich.

You are currently developing a project idea and are looking for a location that suits you? The Berlin Ringtheater is looking forward to your concepts for theater productions, dance pieces, performances and your own original theater texts, which could be realised with us in 2023.
WHO WE ARE AND WHAT WE DO:
Founded in 2017, the Berlin Ringtheater is a production house for socio-critical theater that brings contemporary stories and new forms of performance to the stage. We support theater makers* that are at the beginning of their professional career or wanting to enter a new artistic field with our collective and power-critical production structure. We are particularly interested in intersectional perspectives and approaches of BIPoC or FLINTA artists, artists with disabilities as well as artists with a history of flight or migration. For the past three years, our work has been supported by the Berlin Senate Department for Culture and Europe.

WHAT WE’LL NEED FROM YOU:
• Project description (2 pages) consisting of the following parts: topic of the project, staging concept, implementation ideas, presentation of your own working method.
• Text excerpts (if available)
• Financing strategy or financial plan
• Curriculum vitae of the person responsible for the project and list of project participants
• Documentation of past work if applicable
• Proof of rights of use (e.g. in the case of an adaptation of a novel).
WHAT CAN WE OFFER:
For selected projects in addition to providing technical support, press and public relations we also offer assistance with grant applications, and a small co-production fee. In addition, our in-house dramaturges oversee both the conception and the execution of the project and ensure an artistic exchange between the project participants and the Ringtheater’s collective artistic direction.
Notice: The implementation of the program in 2023 is dependent on our search for a new space. Commitments for a production are therefore conditional to that search being successful.

We are happy to receive your complete project submissions as pdf file by March 31, 2021.
