Juli Wycisk
Born in 90s Saxony, Juli Wycisk (she/her) studied film and visual arts in Hamburg, Berlin and Istanbul. She is working in film and occasionally theater, directing and cinematographing documentaries, music videos and short films, creating distorted yet gentle portraits. As SUKA Juli has been working collectively on multidisciplinary art productions, as a #takeheart residency fellow at HELLERAU – European Center for the Arts, she explored diamonds and their dramatic potential. In October 2023, she completed her participation in the Nomis Foundation Awards Film Project, for which she worked as a filmmaker in Boston and San Francisco. Together with many others, Juli is committed to ensuring the future of the cultural space Neue Zukunft, while as DJ Fanboy she spins downpop and rap. From 2021 to 2024, Juli has been responsible for the press and public relations of Berliner Ringtheater.
